One of our latest brand development schemes for a new business start up. Although we have been designing and managing new brand identities for over 25 years, the basic rule of 'less is more' just doesn't change. It's also a timely reminder of how our portfolio mirrors the ups and downs of the economic climate. We've detected an increase in activity in the UK property market, as well as other sectors. Budgets are still very tight, though.

We were asked to come up with a more 'user-friendly' concept than is customary in this market, to reflect the updated business offer, so we stuck to fundamental 'what you see is what you get' principles. Keep it simple, stupid!

new international hairdressing education site...




Salon Educators new website

We have just completed a major re-design of a website for one of our clients in the hairdressing education industry. It's a rapidly expanding part of the economy and has enormous global potential as the UK is seen as an international centre of excellence. BEDA Design were asked to re-brand the company and we are currently working through the entire programme of marketing collaterals.

when the going stays tough...

As the recession grinds on and the world economy slowly staggers back to life, we seem to be entering yet another transitional phase, which often presages economic recovery, but really, who knows? Every so often, though, you get a pleasant reminder of why we do this. On this particular occasion it came in the form of a conversation with a client whose business has been transformed by the new website we designed and built for him (no, really). Apparently turnover has increased by over 40% in the last quarter and his business is now receiving regular enquiries from industry leading, international clients, all from the new site. He called us specially to say he was over the moon with the site and the success of the Search Engine Optimisation measures we built into it, and is now planning expansion to cope with all the new business!
